According to the latest figures by realestate.com.au, Julie has achieved the highest number of sales in Yallingup over the past 12 months, with 14 properties sold in the tightly held area, at an average price of $1 million.
Yallingup is a highly sought-after coastal town due to its incredible location on a stretch of pristine coastline, with turquoise water and white sandy beaches, and the limited number of properties in the locale.
Recently voted by Australian Traveller Magazine as the “Best Australian Town to Visit and Live”, people love Yallingup due to its laidback lifestyle and stunning beaches. The town is also located right on the edge of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and so close to all the Margaret River food and wine region has to offer, plus the iconic Caves House is only five minutes away, with its popular Sunday sessions and live music.
“I absolutely love Yallingup. I’ve lived here with my husband for 20 years and my two sons have been brought up here - it's our home. My local knowledge has been extremely helpful with my sales success because, when you love a location, your passion is genuine and it naturally comes through.”
“Competition for listings in the Dunsborough/Yallingup region is extremely fierce because properties are so tightly held,” she said. “In response to this, we have implemented a new approach with marketing and selling strategies, which is working extremely well for us.”
Julie said Yallingup is a small community, with many owners living in Perth and using their properties as holiday homes. Beachfront properties on Yallingup Hill can achieve $4 million-plus sale prices.
“Most of the activity is from Perth buyers wanting to jump into the market while prices are still attractive. They are planning for their retirement and investing now because the perception is the market is low and flat, like it is in Perth. Buyers see they can get their piece of Yallingup now, so they can retire down here in the future. In the meantime, they are renting the properties out permanently or as holiday homes.”
Realmark Group Managing Director, John Percudani said, “The South West has become increasingly popular, attracting a lot of people who are looking for that sought-after downtime in an idyllic, relaxing atmosphere with a picturesque outlook of the Indian Ocean. Julie is a true local in Yallingup/Dunsborough area, having lived there for over 20 years. She showcases a wealth of local area knowledge and knows the market inside out, which is a testament to the results she has achieved. REIWA figures confirm Julie is currently ranked 26th in the state for unassisted listing and selling agents, with sales totaling $25.385 million in the past year alone.”
Realmark has achieved increased market share year-on-year over the past 4 years, reaching Agent status of the most productive Agents in WA.
